In an effort to increase business during the recession, and to reward those who are eco-friendly, a German brothel (prostitution is legal in Berlin) is offering discounts to customers who show up on pedal bikes. The owner, Thomas Goetz, felt that it was a better option for the environment and a solution to the problem [...]

One of the biggest arguments against fighting global warming is that it is bad for the economy. What these ‘pundits’ and ‘experts’ forget is that not fighting global warming and pollution is far more expensive and bad for the economy. In a new report titled, Hidden Costs of Energy, by the National Research Council, has [...]

The familiar image of African elephants moving across the African plains could be a thing of the past in less than two decades. Poaching is decimating the elephant herds and estimates have the entire African elephant species extinct within only 15 years.
Currently, only 600,000 African elephants are left on Earth and they are being killed [...]

In an effort to help the environment and cod, the European Union has recommended implementing strong cuts in the amount of cod that fishermen can catch each year. The reason is that cod is very close to being extinct and EU officials are warning that only steep cuts will save the species from extinction.

In fact, of the 60 million Americans who live in private communities, most are not allowed to have clotheslines because it is apparently a symbol [...]
